About the Authors
Andrew H. Smith

Andrew H. Smith has a wealth of experience in counselling, education, and leadership development spanning over four decades. Working with people from all walks of life, and extensively in the fields of community services, health, education, social enterprise, case management, human resources and corporate business sectors, Andy’s passion is to see people set free and live knowing who they are, what they want to do and how to do it.
Specialising in trauma and PTSD counselling, Andy works from a broad therapeutic base. He also understands the creative personality having 15 years in the music industry as a musician, band manager and music copyist for live television.
Andy holds a Master of Youth Mental Health, Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling), Grad Diploma HR Training and Organisation Development, and Cert IV Workplace Assessor. He has worked with Youth At Risk (CEO); Dept. Juvenile Justice, VIC; Education dept in remote indigenous communities; and Assessor for Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.
Andrew grew up in Greenock, London, and Melbourne and currently lives on the Gold Coast, where he runs the Creative Hearts Centre with his wife, the love of his life and co-author Wendy Manzo. Andrew is also the founder of Kids At Heart Australia.
Wendy Manzo

Artist, writer, and jewellery designer, Wendy Manzo is a creative entrepreneur on a quest to inspire. After a decade in journalism, Wendy spent 30 years as owner and master designer at Wendy Manzo Diamonds, Pitt St Sydney, including 10 years pioneering live worship painting with DaySpring Church, Sydney.
Wendy currently runs the Creative Hearts Art gallery and paints prophetically. Her passion is mentoring and releasing artists and writers into their full creative potential.
She is the author of Fragile as Sea Foam, 40 Days Hath November, Increase Your Prophetic Art Skills, How to Paint With God, and the blog, The Prophetic Artist. Wendy edited The Voice in the Paint. She is the co-author, editor, and illustrator of Brush Tales; Silent Stories.
Wendy is currently undertaking PhD research and completing a Master of Visual Art. She holds a Master of Arts (Christian Studies), GradCert in Teaching (2020), Bachelor of Ministry (2019), Bachelor of Media and Communications (2021).
She lives by the beach on the Gold Coast, Queensland with her husband, the love of her life and co-author Andrew H. Smith. Together they have three adult children presently living on three different continents.
